Abstracts should be submitted before 20th October 2025.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Focus Area for abstract submission
  1. Frontiers in Neurochemistry: From Molecules to Mind.
  2. Neurodegeneration and Neuroimmunology: Converging Mechanisms.
  3. Substance Abuse, Addiction Neurobiology, and the Indian Perspective.
  4. Gut–Brain Axis and Indian System of Medicines in Neuroprotection.
  5. Pain Neuroscience and Novel Therapeutics.

Note: (Applicants are requested to mention their choice of focus area in the abstract)

 

  • Registration and payment of registration fee is mandatory for abstract submission.
  • Abstracts should be original work in the field of neurochemistry, neuropharmacology, neurobiology, neuroinformatics neurological disorders and drug discovery
  • Should possess title (all capitals), author’s name (full name), affiliation. Indicate presenting author in bold letters.
  • Abstract Structure-The abstract should be prepared as follows:
            1. The abstract must be presented in only English language.
            2. The abstract should be unstructured and continuous one paragraph with no subheadings.
            3. Title: Centrally aligned, Bold with 14 font.
            4. Affiliation: Italics, 11 font, spacing of 1.5 between title and author’s name and affiliation.
            5.Email ID of presenting and corresponding author should be mentioned and name of presenting author should be highlighted in bold.
            6.Main text: ~ 250 words (excluding title, author’s name and affiliation) typed in Aptos, 12 font, justified, 2.5 cm margin all around, single
               spacing. Maximum of 6 keywords
  • Certificate will only be issued to the registered presenting author. No change in presenting author is allowed after the abstract is accepted.
  • Only one presenter (submitter) is allowed per abstract.
  • The submitter of the abstract is automatically assigned as the presenter. Hence, do not submit on behalf of another presenter.
  • Abstracts which do not adhere to the above guidelines will not be considered.
  1. The size of the poster should be 4 ft (height) and 3 ft (width) and the content of the poster should be readable from a distance of 150 cm. 
  2. Please ensure that the poster number allotted to you is visible in your poster presentation (to be intimated later).
  3. Please arrange your poster with the following sections: introduction, methodology, results, conclusion and acknowledgement.
  4. The judge’s decision will be final for award category.
  5. Please abstain from making any political or religious statements on your poster.
  1. Prepare your presentations in MS-Power Point with 16:9 screen ratio.
  2. Limit your presentation to 3 minutes duration + 2 minutes for Q&A.
  3. The judge’s decision will be final for award category.
  4. Please ensure that the work being presented should not have received award earlier or not presented elsewhere.
  5. Please abstain from making any political or religious statements on your poster.
  6. The presentation is limited to a maximum of 3 minutes. Any competitor exceeding this limit will be disqualified.
  7.  No slide transitions, animations, or movements are allowed. The slide must be displayed from the beginning of the presentation.
  8.  No additional electronic media (e.g., audio or video files) are permitted.
  9. No additional props (e.g., costumes, musical instruments, laboratory equipment) are permitted.
  10. The presentation is considered to have commenced once the presenter begins speaking or makes a deliberate movement.
