About the Conference
The International Conference on Sustainable Brain Health and the 39th Annual Meeting of the Society for Neurochemistry, India (SNCI) will be hosted by the Department of Pharmacology, JSS College of Pharmacy, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysuru.
It will bring together scientists, clinicians, industry professionals, and young researchers from across the globe to share the latest findings, exchange ideas, and explore collaborations.
The program covers neurodegeneration, neuroimmunology, neuroinflammation, substance abuse research, gut–brain axis, and the role of traditional medicines — all aligned with the vision of achieving Sustainable Brain and Planetary Health.
Distinguished speakers and eminent researchers will lead thematic symposia and young investigator sessions, bridging laboratory research with clinical applications to accelerate real-world impact.
Symposia
Symposium 1: Frontiers in Neurochemistry
Spotlight: Exploring brain chemistry from transmitters and biomarkers to clinical translation.
Symposium 2: Neurodegeneration & Neuroimmunology
Spotlight: The interplay between immune signaling and neurodegenerative processes, highlighting new immunotherapies.
Symposium 3: Addiction & Indian Perspective
Spotlight: Examining alcohol, psychostimulants, and psychoactive substances with prevention strategies tailored for India.
Symposium 4: Gut–Brain Axis & Indian Medicines
Spotlight: Integrating microbiome science with India’s pharmacological heritage for sustainable neuroprotection.
